Troubleshooting
Fixes for the common problems: missing lines, no suggestions, and calls that don't start.
No "Them" lines
Telmi can't hear your Mac's audio. Allow Telmi under System Settings, Privacy & Security, Screen & System Audio Recording. The panel says so when it hears nothing from the other side for 20 seconds.
No "You" lines
Allow Telmi under Privacy & Security, Microphone.
Your words show up as "Them" too
You're on speakers. Telmi drops most of that echo, but headphones remove it.
No suggestions
- Check you're signed in to Telmi. If not, sign in again from the app.
- If you're on the free plan, check you have calls left. Out of calls, Telmi still opens past calls but won't start a new recording. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited calls.
- Suggestions appear for questions and, if you turn it on in Settings, for statements too. Press ⌃Space to ask for one any time.
It didn't start by itself
Check that Start listening when a call starts is on in Settings. Telmi starts once a call app has used the mic for a few seconds. Dictation, Siri, and voice memos never count. Press ⌘⇧L to start by hand.
The wrong meeting got attached
When meetings overlap, Telmi picks the one with a join link. Rename the call from its page, and your title stays even if you regenerate the notes.
The transcript misspells names
Add the names and jargon to your pack's Vocabulary. See Knowledge packs.
The browser didn't hand me back to Telmi after sign-in
Copy the token shown on the page and paste it into Telmi.
