Calendar
Connect Google Calendar or macOS Calendar so Telmi knows each meeting's title, people, and link.
With a calendar connected, Telmi names each call after its meeting, knows who was on it, shows what's coming up on Home, and opens the panel a minute before a meeting with a link so you can set it up. You can use Telmi without one.
Google Calendar
Click Connect Google Calendar on Home, or open Settings, then Calendar. Your browser opens to sign in to Google. Telmi reads your calendars read-only and never changes an event.
macOS Calendar
Any calendar your Mac already has works too, including Google, Exchange, and Microsoft 365 accounts.
- Open System Settings, then Internet Accounts, and add your account. Turn on Calendars.
- Open the Calendar app once to check your meetings show up.
- In Telmi, click Use macOS Calendar and allow full access when macOS asks.
You can use both. A meeting that shows up in both appears once.
What Telmi reads
- Timed meetings. All-day, cancelled, and declined events are skipped.
- Title, time, attendees, and the join link (Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, Webex, Whereby, Slack, and others).
- A meeting counts as "now" from 10 minutes before it starts.
Prepare before the call
Open an upcoming meeting on Home to write notes ahead of time, or ask the chat to "prep me for my 3pm". Telmi writes a brief from your earlier calls with the same people: what happened before, what you promised, and questions worth asking.
On Windows
The Windows app reads Google Calendar through the Google account you signed in with on usetelmi.com. It asks for read-only calendar access.
