Terms of service

These terms cover your use of the Telmi apps for Mac and Windows, this website, and our services (“Telmi”). By creating an account or using Telmi, you agree to them.

Your account

You need an account to use Telmi. Keep your sign-in secure and tell us if you think someone else has access. You're responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 16.

Plans and billing

• Free includes 5 calls. A call counts once it has run for 60 seconds.
• Pro is $20 a month, billed monthly in advance through Stripe, for unlimited calls. Taxes are added where they apply.
• You can cancel any time from your account page. Pro stays on until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't refund partial months, except where the law requires it.
• If we change the price, we'll tell you at least 30 days before it affects your next bill.
• “Unlimited” means normal use by one person. We rate-limit automated or abusive use to keep the service working for everyone.

Recording and consent

Telmi transcribes conversations. Laws about recording and transcription differ by place, and some require everyone's consent. You're responsible for getting any consent the law requires and for using Telmi lawfully.

Your content

Your calls, notes, and knowledge packs are yours. They're stored on your device. To provide the service, Telmi sends some of that content to service providers, as described in our privacy policy. You give us permission to process it only for that purpose.

AI suggestions

Suggestions, notes, summaries, and coaching are written by AI. They can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Check anything important before you say it, send it, or rely on it. Telmi only states facts about you and your company from the knowledge you give it, but you're responsible for what you say on your calls.

Acceptable use

Don't use Telmi to:

• record or transcribe people unlawfully;
• break the law, or the rules of an exam, interview, or assessment you've agreed to follow;
• reverse engineer, resell, or overload the service, or get around plan limits;
• use the AI access Telmi provides for anything other than Telmi.

The software

We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use the Telmi apps while you have an account. The apps update themselves. We may change, add, or remove features over time.

Ending things

You can stop using Telmi and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Your call files stay on your device either way.

Disclaimers and liability

Telmi is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we don't give warranties that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits rights you have that can't be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we'll give notice in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Telmi after that means you accept them.
